ARKK Copenhagen opens its doors to the first Sneaker Concept Store on Friday, November 24 at 14:00. Get ready for a store full of retail experiences that will redefining the sneaker shopping experience.

No matter where you look, the forecast for the future of retail is online. Online is king. However, according to Forbes “there is still no replacement for the sensory touchpoint provided by a brick-and-mortar location where customers can touch, feel and evaluate the product in person.”

But in order to justify the customer’s trip to the store versus shopping online - providing a unique in-store experience is key. On Friday, November 24 from 14:00 to 19:00, ARKK Copenhagen opens doors to its first Sneaker Concept Store on Elmegade 14, in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.

Focused on in-store experiences

This will not be just any sneaker store, it will feature original in-store experiences such as a “never-ending sneaker room”, neon lit basketball court fastened to the ceiling, custom designed speakers from fellow Danish brand Bang & Olufsen - just to name a few.

Most importantly, the new sneaker concept store will defy minimalistic design, the same way ARKK Copenhagen designs their footwear. Don’t expect predictable white walls. In its place, is a concrete set up fitted with a pegged wall system that allows for creative custom visual merchandising opportunities for many seasons to come.
