The story behind Arkk Copenhagen
Arkk Copenhagen was founded on a summer evening in 2014 by Kasper Høj Rasmussen and Thomas Refdahl. The shoes were created to challenge major brands like Adidas, Nike, and New Balance with a Danish product that combines the functionality and materials of sports shoes with the aesthetic of Scandinavian simple design—a perfect everyday shoe and a fantastic alternative to both Nike and Adidas sneakers.
For us, a product is never finished. Regardless of how long an item has been in our portfolio, we always revisit it to optimize the design and functionality.
We constantly challenge ourselves: How can we make this sneaker more comfortable? How can we improve its breathability? How can we design it to offer more support and a better fit?
